Mother to Mother Support Group

Navigating the postpartum period, hormone and mood fluctuations, shifting partner dynamics, identity confusion and loss, and learning to trust yourself in motherhood are all common challenging experiences for new moms... and yet there often aren’t spaces to have real talk about these experiences.

you don’t have to go it alone

  • The postpartum period is full of adjustments—from hormones, to relationships, to understanding and redefining your identity.

  • Postpartum moods can feel unfamiliar and overwhelming at times: baby blues, postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety along with lesser talked about experiences such as postpartum rage

  • We bring a lifetime of history to this moment in time, which can be complex and important to tease out.

  • There can be feelings of isolation in motherhood: fear of sharing the bad and the ugly because motherhood “should be” all good and joyful.

  • There’s a lot of information out there—the internet, social media, and unsolicited advice from others. This can feel overwhelming (and exhausting), sometimes leading you to not trust your own instincts as a mom.

  • The Mother to Mother Support Group is designed to offer you expert support, led by Licensed Therapist and Perinatal Mental Health Specialist Jen Reisinger, along with community of other moms who get it.
